Will Sadr's party lose majority after recount of votes?
BAGHDAD (Reuters) – Iraq’s Supreme Court ruled on Thursday that the cancellation of overseas, displaced and Peshmerga votes in the May 12 parliamentary election was unconstitutional.
Parliament had demanded a nationwide recount of votes, drawing calls for the election to be re-run. The Supreme Federal Court was tasked with ruling on the matter.
