Will Andrew Brunson be released on 12 of October?

On 24 of September US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced he was hopeful Turkey would release evangelical pastor Andrew Brunson this month. The preacher had been detained for 21 months, but in July was moved to house arrest.

Brunson has been detained on terrorism charges.  On October 12 there will be another hearing and if the court finds him guilty the preacher may be jailed for 35 years.

During his visit to New York the president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said it is a judiciary matter,  any decision on Brunson will be made by the court.
