Will the three leaders discuss the possibility of using national currencies in trade in place of USD during Tabriz meeting?
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Russian and Iranian leaders will meet in Iran next week to discuss developments in Syria. The main purpose is to understand how to deal with radical Islamic groups who control some regions of Syria and coordinate the policies of three states in this region.
Russian bases in Syria from time to time are being attacked by extremist groups in the Northeastern province of Idlib , as Syrian armed forces, backed by Moscow and Tehran are close to the opposition enclave. Turkey has warned that any military action there will cause a massive migration of the inhabitants to its borders.
Turkey has also many other important geopolitical end economic interests here. In this region there are Kurdish militants which are supported by USA, but are considered terrorist groups in Turkey.
