Will China cancel Washington round of trade talks with US?

The U.S. announced to impose higher tariffs on 200bn dollars worth on China on Friday, a day after representatives from both nations are scheduled to resume trade talks in Washington. Trump administration officials accused China of reneging on commitments made during weeks of negotiations.
This move escalated trade tensions between the two countries. 
The Wall Street Journal reported that China was considering cancelling this week's trade talks in Washington in light of Trump's comments that took Chinese officials by surprise.
